Met XL 50mg is a tab made by Ajanta Pharma which is used in the treatment of chest pain(angina), heart failure and high blood pressure. Its main ingredient is Metoprolol XL that acts as a long acting beta blocker which specifically works on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping around the body.

Swallow it as a whole instead of crushing or breaking it. This drug can be taken with or without food but it is important to be taken at a fixed time.
